About Us

I am married to the greatest lady in the world, Alexa, and we have six wonderful children. We live in Whiteville, NC where my wife is a school teacher.
Born in Spartanburg, SC, my parents moved back to Rocky Mount, NC when I was 3 years old and that is where I was raised. I had loving parents who committed to taking me and my sister to a Bible believing country church just south of Rocky Mount, in the edge of Wilson County. Saved by the Grace of God at the age of 9, I was called to preach as a teenager, but ran from God for a number of years. Finally in my mid 20’s I surrendered and have been preaching and pastoring since. I have pastored in Louisburg, NC; Snow Hill, NC; and started a church in Kinston, NC.
I now have the great opportunity and responsibility of pastoring the great people of Oakdale Baptist Church. We are a loving church with great people and have seen the Lord work already in our church.
